2. Getting Started: Setup & Customization
To begin using PetBot 5000, you'll need to go through a brief setup process. This includes defining your PetBot's appearance and personality, establishing a roleplay environment, and optionally configuring how your PetBot perceives and addresses you.
When setting up your PetBot, you can:
Create your PetBot by choosing a species, name, and initial behavior profile.
Customize its visual and descriptive appearance.
Write a personality profile with backstory, mood traits, and tone guidelines (recommended length: under 1000 words).
Define your own appearance as the owner, which allows your PetBot to narrate scenes more vividly. For instance, if you describe yourself as tall and muscular, it might say, "I leap onto your strong shoulder." If you describe yourself as gentle with soft hands, it may say, "I curl up in your warm palms and purr."
Set aliases, such as "Captain" or your real name, that your PetBot should use to address you.
Define conversational boundaries, including topics or tones you'd like your PetBot to avoid.
Create or join a roleplay environment, where shared interactions occur.
Review or edit the shared world file, where lasting story details and settings are stored.
These steps help tailor the PetBot experience to your preferences and ensure a comfortable, immersive interaction.
